Our Process
We're against mindlessly producing vast swathes of clothing. We have a responsibility to consider every step in the process and make the best choices possible.
This is ever-evolving and we're always looking to improve.
Here's everything that we're doing to lessen our impact on the planet.

Factories
We work with factories who pay their staff the living wage, provide safe working conditions and take care of their staff.
At the moment, all of our factories are based in the north of Portugal. This region is well regarded in the industry as being one of the best places in the world to make clothes.

Materials
Choosing the right materials can reduce our carbon footprint and makes our pieces last longer.
We've committed to move to using only organic cotton by the end of '22 and scour for deadstock material to produce unique pieces without needing to create new fabrics.

Packaging
How you receive your package is an important part of the process. So we've sourced packaging from certified European suppliers.
Everything that we ship your purchase to you in is recyclable or biodegradable, making it easier for us all to lower our impact on the environment.

Plastic waste
Plastic is very hard to cut out of the manufacturing process. While we try our best to reduce its use wherever possible, some is still used.
We collect all of our plastic waste to be repurposed into new products. The rest is recycled locally.

Local teams
Manufacturing clothing requires constant checks throughout the process. There are numerous rounds of samples that need to be meticulously inspected.
Instead of flying multiple times to our factories or having numerous samples shipped, we hire trusted, local teams to do this on our behalf.

Shipping
The majority of our factories are close to one another. This allows us to combine our orders into one large shipment, rather than multiple smaller ones.
